Spouse:  Beverly

Kids:

Kim, 32, is a homemaker for three of our beautiful grandkids. Lacy, Brianna and Austen. She and husband, Jim, live in Cresswell Oregon.
Matt, 27, graduated from Pomona college in California and is currently working for Classmates.com to finance his continued education. He is single and lives in Seattle.
Zack, 24, builds custom homes and lives in Walla Walla.
Sarah, 21, lives in College Place. She's single and works with the elderly and disabled.
Nicky, 21, is our adopted daughter and has blessed us with a new grandson, Tristan.

Well now...... After leaving the U of I, I eventually got into construction and have been a floorcovering contractor for 35 years.  I do mostly large commercial buildings all over Oregon and Washington.  I've done a lot of carpet and formica, but prefer ceramic tile and more difficult vinyl installations.

Bev and I recently built a new home and shop on a dead end road next to a national wildlife refuge. We have the usual assortment of horses and goats and dogs and cats.  Oh yea, probably 20 cats up in the barn, plus an occasional cougar to stir things up.  We like working on the place and our garden.

I still like deer and elk hunting up in the Blue mountains and we go flyfishing in the Eagle Caps as much as possible.  We sometimes camp in the meadow where Paint Your Wagon was filmed and fish in Eagle crik right where they gave Lee Marvin his wedding bath.

I donated the marble work on the Fountain to the city of Pendleton. Here, workmen are installing the veiled Bronze before the water is turned on.

Fourty years later..... and more wheels...

We are all well and happy and life is good.  I plan on slowing down in the coming years, but I'll keep working as long as I enjoy it.  I missed the last two reunions because I thought I was too busy to go.  How dumb can you get?  So I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone this time.

Thanks to Bill for all the hard work and the nudge.
