Hello classmates,

Sorry that we will miss attending the reunion festivities as we had planned a European river cruise well before the reunion date was established.  Since retiring from a 41 year banking career we have traveled to Sweden, Denmark, Scotland and Ireland to visit our roots.

Carol, my bride of 44 years, will retire this June from a high school teaching career. Our son, Scott and wife, Teresa and three children reside in Coeur d'Alene providing us lots of opportunities to be with our young grandchildren. Our son, Craig owns his own civil engineering firm in Denver and our youngest, Kevin travels extensively as a professional poker player.

Will miss seeing you all at the reunion. Thanks to Bill Sever for keeping the Bear memories alive.

Spouse:  Carol J. (Gunderson)

Kids: Scott, Craig, and Kevin

After graduating from high school, I attended the University of Idaho graduating with a Bachelors of Science degree from the College of Business.  I started my career in commercial banking in 1969 with my first job in Coeur d'Alene.  I married Carol, my college sweetheart on June 6,1970 soon after her graduation from U of I with an Education degree.  Carol enjoys teaching English to students at Lake City High School.

We are empty nesters right now with our three sons, Scott, Craig and Kevin joining the working force and contributing to the gross national product rather than living out of mom and dad's pocket.   It is a good feeling. Scott, age 30 is a teacher himself at the Charter School in Coeur d'Alene.   Our middle son, Craig, age 27 is a civil engineer working with a local development company.  Our youngest son, Kevin, age 23 is starting a career in insurance.  We are really empty nesters as no grandchildren yet.  Just the kids' pets that we get called upon to sit for when they leave town.

We raised our family in our Coeur d'Alene Lake home that we acquired soon after our marriage.  The original cabin has gone through several addtions and remodels.  We have enjoyed the lifestyle of living on the lake, enjoying our view of the water, a refreshing swim in the summer months, fishing year round and a lot of sailboat racing in our J/24.

Many of our high school classmates reside in Coeur d'Alene so it is fun to see them occasionally and reminisce our high scool days.  Carol and I are unable to attend the 40 year class reuniion as we had precommitted to a sailing cruise in the San Jaun Islands.  It is poor timing as we will miss seeing my 1964 classmates.   Best wishes to all and a special thanks to those that so actively contributed their time and energy to organizing the reunion.

See you at the 50th!
