Been some time since we updated our page. Here is a more recent pix of our family group. Our yearly "grandparents camp" has shrunk in recent years as our older grands are in college or working and not as available as they have been in the past to get together for a week. Down to 3 instead of 7, but we still try to get together as much as possible. So glad the Covid issues are starting to relax. We are looking forward to reunion 60! Blessings to all! | |||||||

December 2, 2003 Hello classmates of MHS64: Phil and Kathy will have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary by the time we all get together in Moscow for our HS reunion, so forty years means a lot on several fronts. We have been "empty nesters" for over seven years, but are beginning to rebuild our nest with 4 terrific grandchildren. Our three daughters are happily married and living in the NW, so we get to see them and their families quite often. The picture we provided shows the whole brood. Kathy works as a registered nurse for Skagit Valley Medical Center in Mount Vernon, WA as a pediatric consulting nurse. Phil calls her "grandma on the phone" as she spends her day helping frantic young mothers with their sick children. Just the sort of thing a daughter would call her mother to ask about. After "retirement from GTE", Phil worked at Home Depot, Lowes, GTE Alaska and went back to school to finally get his college degree. He now works for the State of Washington as budget manager for DSHS Region 3. We have moved 16 times in the last 40 years. Someone might think we were unable to settle down or something. In reality, we have enjoyed it for the most part and have friends in places all over the NW and as far away as Texas. We currently live in Mount Vernon, Washington on Big Lake, just outside of town, where we hope to stay put for a while. Life has been good and we thank God for His faithfulness.
