OBITUARY: Agnes Weeks89, MoscowPosted on: Friday, February 26, 2010 Agnes K. Weeks, age 89, of Moscow, Idaho, died Feb. 23, 2010, at the Clark House in Moscow. She was born March 27, 1920, in Aberdeen, Wash., to Jonas W. "Fred" and Tillie (Petersson) Siden. Agnes grew up in Hoquiam, Wash., and graduated from high school there. She met Don Weeks while he was serving with the U.S. Army Air Corps and they were married on Oct. 25, 1940, in San Jose, California. After World War II, they made their home in Moscow where she began her career as a secretary with the Moscow School District. She worked another five years for the University of Idaho and then retired. Agnes was a member and deacon of the First Presbyterian Church, and a member of Beta Sigma Phi and P.E.O. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996 and her brother, Walter Siden, in 1944. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara McKean of Madison, Wis. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 1, 2010, at the First Presbyterian Church in Moscow. Memorial contributions are preferred to the University of Idaho Arboretum or the Latah County Historical Society.
