| Back in the '60s, it was rumored that, regardless of age, if you had a good enough arm to throw the money up onto the bar at this North Idaho landmark, the bartender would drop the beer down to you... Now.. I wouldn't suggest that it's true.... but it's a great story. Table-top dancing and locally brewed high-mountain moonshine were also part of the tale. improvements to Hwy 95 are forcing relocation of the tavern located just north of Potlatch, at the top of the hill by "Sky-line Drive". The name "Marshia's Tavern" rings a bell for me... but I might be memory challenged..... Bill |
